Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Peaks For Parkinson's!
#walkwithzunibear
We raised $10,000 during
Peaks For Parkinson's in 2010.
Can we do it again in 2020?
YES! We did it.
Thank you to all of the generous donors.

This journey has three main goals:
-
Raise awareness of Parkinson's Disease.
-
Encourage people to keep moving, whether it's ten steps or a mile, at home or on a mountain. Exercise helps to keep muscles strong, improves balance and mobility, slowing the progression of PD.
-
Raise funds to help support people living with Parkinson's Disease.

With Your Help We Can Move Mountains.
Guided by Jocelyn Hebert (trail name "Zuni Bear") in 2010, people from the Parkinson's community hiked sections of the Long Trail from south to north while she hiked the entire distance.

Because of COVID-19, Peaks For Parkinson's 2020 will encourage people affected by Parkinson's Disease, their family members and friends, to hike or walk near their homes during the month of September to be with Jocelyn in spirit as she hikes the trail again.
